Went there on a Sunday, along with a couple hundred of my closest friends.
None of us spoke to each other.
I visited pretty much every department in the store,
and got souvenirs to remember them by.
I didn't drive far to get here - a couple of blocks.
I didn't have to walk far to the entrance - a couple of blocks.
The checkout line wasn't long - a couple of blocks.
It gave us food. It gave us clothes.
And it would have given us shelter if I had bought that tent I was looking at.
All hail, Walmart!
To think all we sacrificed was our hard-earned money
and priceless life minutes
to partake in its bounty.
